The first weekly GLBT radio program in South Carolina, Rainbow Radio premiered October 9, 2005, and airs Sundays at 10 a.m. in Columbia on Air America, WOIC-AM 1230.

Downloading MP3 Files
The MP3 program files have now been reduced to under 7 MB. To play them, click on the linked Program Topic name. On a fast connection, there will be just a slight delay when you click on the file links before they play.
ALTERNATE OPTIONS:
- If you're on a PC , right-click the links and choose "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As...," depending on your browser. The free Firefox browser is much faster for the "Save Link As..." process than Internet Explorer. We recommend using the Firefox browser for this purpose.
- If you're on a Mac , Control-click the link and choose "Save Link As...." Then pick an easy-to-find place (such as the Desktop) on your computer to download the file. Once the file has downloaded to your computer successfully, click your personal version of the file to quickly play the program.
Podcasts
Podcasting makes it possible to subscribe to the weekly Rainbow Radio programs and download them to a portable listening device, such as an iPod, specially equipped cell phone, or other portable media device, enabling you to take us with you wherever you go.
- Download Free Software
First you need to download free podcast subscription software such as Apple's iTunes (which has a built-in media player). You don't have to use iTunes; there are other free programs out there.
- Subscribe to the Weekly Rainbow Radio Podcast
- To subscribe to a Rainbow Radio podcast listed above, right-click (or Control-click in MacOS) on the Podcast icon and select "Copy Link Location" or "Copy Shortcut” (depending upon your browser). You may then paste the link into your podcasting software.
- In Apple's iTunes, click on Podcasts in the left-hand Source column. Then, in the drop-down menu at the top left of the screen, click on Advanced | Subscribe to Podcast..., then paste the link into the pop-up window and click OK. When the file has downloaded, click on the Play button (or simply click on the file and hit the space bar).
- If you're using podcast software other than iTunes, consult the help section in the podcast program of your choice.
